Sky advice please

Hi folks,

I m moving into a new flat in a couple of weeks time. I have my old satelite dish and digibox from my previous address which has had the sky cancelled.

In the new flat we want to have sky in the living room and the bedroom and I already have one of the magic eye thingy's.

We dont want to get a phone line as it wouldnt be used, it would only be to get a new sky installation. Do you think it would be a better option just to pay for a local installer to install the dish etc that we already have?

What about Sky+? Do you have to pay any extra to use it just to record programs? I was thnking about getting one off ebay so that we could use it to record. We are not bothered about watching different channels in differrent rooms.

Also what about the leads used for the sky, can these also be used if you decide to get sky hd or do you have to buy new cables too?

thanks for any help

How are you going to get online? Will you have a cable broadband connection?
