Just bought a refurbished 26" acoustic solutions HD ready TV from ebay (oh dear you are thinking!). Its only as a second HD TV - got a 42" panasonic Viera as my main TV connected to SKY HD. The acoustic solutions tv has gone into another room and is connected to SKY+ via a magic eye (just so i can keep the box out of sight). Now the problem i have is that every now and again the black images on the TV go purple and fuzzy. If i switch the tv off and back on problem seems to go away - so in my mind theres a problem with the TV. However i was thinking that it may be due to the sky co-ax cables which i have been fiddling around with and was thinking that the image distortion i am seeing is due to that. Has anyone else had or seen details of this issue and whether its related to the co-ax cable and intermittent inteference? I think in know the answer - basically the TV is knackered . . .
Cheers

If you mean the coax cables to the lnb inputs - these would have no bearing at all on picture quality - with digital signals it is all or nothing - you would either get a picture or not ( on the borderline you will get severe blocky pixellation but not other distortions).
If connected by scart to the Sky dodgibox - try swapping the scart lead for a known good lead - try the present lead and dodgibox on your other TV to eliminate the scart lead and Sky box as being at fault.
