Smile Copy from Sky+ box to PC

I saw the thread ref copying Sky HD movies to a PC and the answer was that you can't do it, or at least not without difficulty.

Does anyone know if and how you can get footage from your normal Sky+ box onto your PC to watch? Not just films but general programmes, documentaries etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Copy from Sky+ box to PC

If you have a TV card on your PC, you can ceonnect this to your Sky+ box and then either watch the live programme or, if you are playing back a recording, this will be fed to the PC where it can be recorded again.
