Newbie needing help

Sorry to post newbie questions but need help.

I had sky digital installed - cancelled and now just use it for the free channels.

I would like to be able to buy a pvr for this set-up. I don't have an aerial installed so just want to swap my pace sky box to something that can record the freeview channels through the sky dish, etc but would also like to be able to program my own channels so I dont have to skim through all of the channels i don't pay for.

Is this possible, if so any recommendations?

Thanks

Re: Newbie needing help-sattelite new setup

Just set them as "favourites".

BTW you won't get "Freeview" via satellite and you won't get CH4 or five without a Sky box + Freesat card.
