Question Sky going to 2 rooms.

Hi all. My first post so hello to everyone

I've moved in to a new modern home which has a coax running from the loft down to the living room face plate so I guess I can use this to connect the RF2 so I can get sky in the main bedroom but what about the other bedroom?

I want to recieve sky on my PC in the other bedroom but dont know how to run another coax/cable to the digital PC card.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Just use a 1 in 2 out coax splitter from the RF2 output running the 2nd output to your PCs TV Tuner card...which must have an Analogue (not Digital or Freeview) tuner...the default channel on the Sky box is RF68 so simply tune to this channel for the Sky box output.

Was hoping there could be another way so I could use the existing coax that runs from the living room face plate to the loft. Could I use a splitter box or loft box to run another coax from there to the PC?

That's what I meant...I take it this cable is unused at the moment?...or is it carrying a signal from your aerial?
If it is you'll need to run another cable.
No need to use a loftbox or amp...you may get away with using a simple coax splitter as suggested.

Sorry mate. Been up since 0400 so was having a dumb moment. It's not carrying any signal so I will go ahead with the splitter.

Thanks bud.
