SKY+ Picture Quality ITV and Sky One

How do, got a strange situation, and am hoping its going to come down to the broadcast, so would be interested to know if anyone else has this problem.

I have a Panny 42PX60, had a new D-Board, now watching 24 on Sky One, in the dark scenes I get faint vertical banding, enough to take my focus away from the programme and annoy me, these bands are every inch, each band starts off fine and then on the right hand side of the band, get fainter.
Recorded Harry Potter, Chamber of Secrets, from Saturday ITV1, started watching it the last night and again, darkish scenes the banding is there. I am trying to get hold of the DVD from a lad in work, but would be interested to know if anyone else has this problem?

Standard Scart lead from SKY+ box to AV1 input.

Any ideas?
