Very Unhelpful SKY Installer

I had SKY TV and SKY Broadband installed yesterday. The job was done in around 30 minutes which was a lot quicker than I expected. The engineer installed everything then promptly left without explaining how anything works even though he is supposed to ( he even had the cheek to check the lottery numbers on my computer whilst working). After he had left I then realised that he had not fitted the telephone wire from my socket to my router correctly (he did not secure it against the wall, he just left it hanging). I then realised as I went upstairs that he had not connected the SKY box to the telephone line even though it is not that far. I then informed SKY customer services about all these problems and the guy on the line phoned the engineer so that we could talk. I then told him about all these things that I was unhappy about and he said that SKY do not run telephone wires from upstairs to downstairs (is this true??), that he did not fit the telephone wire against the wall because it was hidden by furniture???, I told him that this was unacceptable and I expected him to come back and do it properly. He then promised to phone me back soon and he has still not done so. What should I do next, should I phone customer services and complain and get them to get a different engineer to come round and sort everything out? Also is it true that they do not run telephone wires from upstairs to downstairs?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

We will tac the phone line ect.
We do not move furniture.
Just phone sky again and get them back out and move the furniture before the installer comes out.
And we can and do run phone lines upstairs just make sure nowt's in the way

Re: Very Unhelpful SKY Installer

or buy 100 cable tacs for 50p down your local hardware shop and DIY. You shouldn't have to but at least you will do a decent job.
