Never watched or even heard of Dead Like Me before, but just watched it after your recommendations. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Especially liked that actress who used to be in "A Different World" (80s American college comedy sitcom)
One question, if they're dead, how is it they can be seen by others??
Thanks.

They can`t. Only other dead people can see them. I watched all this the first time round and thought it was a breath of fresh air (so to speak). I mean any show that starts off with the lead being knobbled by a toilet works for me.

I'm confused. But they were talking and interacting with living people.

The reapers can be seen by living people, but they do not look the same as they used to (to the living people), only other reapers and the audience can see their old face. In one of the first epesodes Georga looks in a window and can see someone elses face (same clothes etc.) in the reflection. The same girl played Georga when whe went back home and spoke with her mum (mom ), and here mum had no idea who she was and Georga couldn't tell her.
I think it's explained in the first episode a bit like this; When you die a reaper saves your soul and you go tot he other side. When a reaper has saved x number of souls they are released to go to the other side and the last soul they save takes there place until they save x number of souls. and so on, and so on... I think
When Georga dies her reaper had just hit x number of souls so he went off to the other side and left her with his 'job'!
Hope that makes some sense

It would have been better if they showed them in the correct episode order
How hard could it be to have put them in order?
You might just get to see the first episode in a week or two
