Sky Channels Not Appearing

Hello all,
Re-joined Sky last week, connected my digibox (Amstrad) and put viewing card back in , none of the channels I had subscribed to appeared, 17 phone calls and 2-1/2 hours on hold resulted in a sky engineer phoning me back to say my software needing up-grading which I did last night, also re-tuned all the cannels in again and asked Sky to re-send the signal, still no channels apart from freeviw ones.

All cables and connectors checked and working, maybe the forum members will be far more helpful than Sky, let's hope so!!

What EPG version and software version do you have on the box?

It must be from SKY the problem lies. If you get the free to view channels (such as CH4, Five and SKY3) the card decrypts the signal. What excactly does it say on the screen when you tune to SKY1?

the sky engineer showed me how to download the lastest software which I did, still nothing happens, a blue screen appears with the telephone number on to upgare my package!!!

i checked the menu afterwrads to make sure the siftwrae version was bang up to date
