which setting 720p or 1080i

As i understand it all sky hd is braodcast in 1080i and mist of the content will have been recorded in 1080i.

as the output from the box does vary according to the setting should i leave the setting in sky box to 1080i and let my plasma do and de-interlacing scalling or set the box to 720p and just let my plasma scalle it.

Thanks Skooby

I have mine set on Auto, but the effect(s) you see when changing from HD channels to SD channels will vary from TV to TV & whether you use HDMI or component. Trial & error I'm afraid..
