Grrr. First box crash killed planet earth :(

Why does the box _still_ loose a recording entirely when the box crashes?!

Holby City and Planet Earth were both recording (8pm to 9pm). My wife started watching Holby about 8:50 and a 9:01 the box crashed and both recordings are now FAILED with a reason 12 and unplayable.

Why doesn't it keep the old bit?! Grrrrr.

To make things worse my old Sky+ box stopped working as well yesterday (even tried reloading the software on it and get a message on the screen but when it finishes get nothing at all).

At least Planet Earth is repeated next week!

Makes the hdmi problems look pretty insignificant now

Getting sky to admit liability for this one would be a bit tricky, they would probably say the earth was made with a design flaw and tell you to take it up with god
