cancelled sky - will the box and card still work?

Cancelled sky (that's quite difficult to do because of the interminable menus and call queues).
I am wondering if i will still be able to use the box as a freeview?

Your Sky STB & viewing card will now work as Freesat receiver. This is similar to Freeview, but the channel lineup is different, ie Freesat does not currently offer E4 but does offer even more shopping channels etc . You will still need to have the STB connected to the sat dish and not a standard TV aerial as used for Freeview STB's.
