Strange audio issue

My SkyHD box is connected to my Yamaha 1500 amp via optical cable, and when it's not decoding DD 5.1 the amp is usually switched to Dolby Neo:6 surround. Every now and again I get a short burst of white noise at quite a low level from the front speakers - it probably lasts less than a second. It's almost like a sigh. Has anyone else noticed this, or is this unique to my setup ?

Nothing like that, although occasionaly get a loss of all audio output from the Denon when switching channels this requires a flip of selected input on the denon to fix. I think the SkyHD box is still sending audio but it has clearly sent something during the channel swap that has upset the denon e.g. a partial DD frame, although I'd have though the denon was more robust than this.

Cheers,
John.

I have this too. My SkyHD is connected via optical to my Pioneer amp and every now and then I get the white noise for a second from the front speakers as you described. I'm not changing channels at the time.
It's pretty annoying.
No such problems from my DVD optical input so I don't think my speaker setup can be at fault.
