Broken Sky+ Box/Fan

Hello, my Sky+ boxs fan seems to be broken causing the box to shutdown after 30mins of vewing due to overheating. on closer inspection the fan is fine(it works on a 12v battery) it's the fan headder thats the problem.

I would like to know if there is an auto shutdown system built into these boxes and if it's new box time

Oh, and it's a "Pace" box, I cant see a moddle number.
