Annoying sound delay issue on SKY HD Recordings sometimes, and more!

only me......again!

i have recorded a few programs on my Samsung SKY HD box from various different SKY HD channels,
at present i have the sound from the HD Box going straight into my Yamaha Surround Sound all swinging and all dancing System via the Optical Cable, it doesnt happen a lot of the time, but i noticed when watching Music Concerts and a few other normal programs that i have recorded, the sound is sometimes out with what im hearing through my surround sound setup on Playback, anyone know why?
i have found one way to remedy it is to fast forward or rewind the offending recorded program, then just start to re-play it again, and then 90% of the time, that cures it, can anyone shed any light on this?

do i have to change the sound delay option on the SKY HD settings, or on my Surround Sound System?
at the moment, im sat here watchin Lenny Kravitz that i recorded the other day, it must be half a second out at least
just rewound it and hey presto! problem gone, everything now in Sync

have i broken something? lol

Re: Annoying sound delay issue on SKY HD Recordings sometimes, and more!

It's a common problem that Sky have failed to resolve and that has been ongoing since the service launched...

Simply pausing for half a second then resuming will clear it - the rewinding isn't necessary.
