stupid question re pay tv channels

Hi All,
This might be a dumb question, but...

On the new SkyHD box I was playing with turning off the PIN for watershed as it drive me nuts, and whilst testing ended up on one of the semi-naughty channels (i.e. not the dodgy hardcore stuff, just one like babestation) It prompted for a PIN which I entered, and channel came up.
Now, I'm pretty sure under Sky+ this didn't happen - it just displayed a bluescreen inviting you to subscribe.
Have I just paid for a naughty programme, or was the PIN for watershed? Any easy way to tell other than waiting for the bill? Does the watershed PIN prompt look different to they buy-a-programme PIN?
If you do buy a programme then flick to the next channel (fnarr) instantly, do you get billed?

I don't want to get hit with a big bill when I next hook this box up to a phone line...!

Most likely to be PIN for watershed in your case. Some of the "adult channels" are PPV but it is impossible to order them without having a Sky Box
Office type screen coming up with the cost - and then agreeing to this!

FYI, there is no hardcore on UK TV, subscription, pay-per-view or otherwise. Ironically, exactly the same rules apply to all broadcasters whether their channels are PPV or not, and there have actually been instances where the mainstream broadcasters have shown harder material than the likes of Playboy, Television X et al...

Although having said that, there was a short-lived, "let's see what we can get away with" type experiment by the Adult Channel and Playboy to show girl/girl hardcore material - if there is such a thing - but that was quickly shut down by Ofcom.

Humm... maybe I should be quiet now.
