Just noticed recently that some things I try to record on channel 4 aren't recording. When I go to the sky planner after they should be done it just says the date an the time in the box where it should say recorded. I don't know if it's just with channel 4 but that's the only one we've noticed it on at the minute, other things on other channels have been recording fine whilst this has been going on. It's in the last week or so, big brother has failed to record every day and dispatches today. Annoying.

It is annoying and unfortunately I can't help you, except to say that I've just checked and my box has recorded Dispatches ok, so it isn't a wide issue.

Nope, nothing at all has changed in fact.

Ah well, worth a try. Similar issues are sometimes caused by the customer account not being set up correctly for address, so the record function tries to find the wrong regional variant of Ch 4.

Had exactly the same thing on C4 programmes - box kept failing to record Big Brother (maybe it was trying to tell me something!) yet all other recordings were OK. Now record everything from C4 programming on C4HD or 4+1 and no problems since.
