Will recording continue if programme over runs???

I am planning to record the Champions League final tomorrow on SSHD1 & was wondering if the programme over runs will the recording continue or will it stop when the programme was scheduled to finish?

Should i use the manual recording instead?

That won't go to extra time mate , so let it automatically add 5 mins each end.

Sky are normally good at extending the EPG - so you should be fine. However, I have found this only works if you do not have any padding set up.

If you don't want to trust them, just either record the next programme, or put in a manual recording for, say, the next half hour.

It worked a treat (a bit to well in fact) on the FA Cup final at the weekend. Was scheduled to take up 16% on BBDHC so had cleared out 23% just to be sure as didn't think about match going into extra time, only that the info isn't always great in its guessing When I got home it had used 26% and had zapped one of the films I had in my planner so as to record the extra time and post match commentry

Why not just record the programme scheduled to start after the footie as well to be on the safe side ?

Too right...Liverpool will give 'em a four-nil head start this time and beat them in normal time

But i bet Jose will still say the best team lost
