Fan Going Wild & Other Probs with Box

Hi All

I know there is an issue with the fan and Anytime TV but since I have had it on the fan has been constant but its been low, I came in the other day and my house sounded like an airport the fan was that loud and it was constant.

I turned off Anytime TV but it still went on, Turned off the machine and its back to normal now also turned back on anytime tv. All good noise wise

I have also noticed now that things I have recorded do not play (Not everything though)

Its also doing some weird things like if I go to any menu it will be very slow

Is my box on its way out do you think.
and do sky recognise the fan noise fault could I complain and get another box
mine is just about out of warranty have about 2 months left

Great site guys

Cheers

Dex

I'd get on to Sky straight away.

I rang them a while back when my Sky+ box was acting up (blue screen etc - turned out needed a forced download). Anyway, it was 2 days out of warranty, and they wanted £65 to fix it.

Luckily I found this site - a godsend!
