HD record issue

Ok my scienario: i started watching an HD recording of last weeks '24' at 20:30 tonight, nothing else was recording at this time no viewing problems. Just before 21:00 the current week's 24 starts recording and the program i am trying to watch throws a wobbler and goes into a slo mo jumpy situation with only short snatches of dialogue which is impossible to understand. I tried a search for this problem with no joy, i cannot imagine that this is unique. Could some nice person point me towards a fix or any info. thanks in advance.

Re: HD record issue

People have reported this effect before although it was assumed to be a data through put issue with multipule data streams to and from the hard drive but the load on your machine was fairly light.

Anyhow a reboot has reported to solve this immediate "bug" more often than note as it does for so many
