Silver SkyHD box?

It doesn't bother me what colour the box is but I've just seen some silver ones and are being marketed as HD boxes. They look identical in style to the black ones, just the colours are reversed.

So my question is are they legit and are any silver HD boxes knocking around? Searched the forum and not seen anything...

Cheers for any info in advance

Where did you see these, you sure these aren't the standard, new style digiboxes.

Re: Silver SkyHD box?

Possibly but they have the same remote as the HD boxes, AFAIK Sky+ remotes are different.

A mate sent me a pic, I'll ask of its origin.

Re: Silver SkyHD box?

It could be the Pace HD box being used by Sky Italia, should be able to confirm once we've seen a pic.

Re: Silver SkyHD box?

Yup, that's a standard box (not even Sky+). Had one of those installed when I first got Sky (swapped in the HD box myself).

So is black now the new silver?

There's bound to be something on the DHL channel about it!

The remote and box are both standard Sky digibox fayre. You can see that the remote has no function for record / playback / pause etc.

Yes, that's the new "Flow" style box. It should have the maker's name near the rear of the cover.
