Question 5.1 without optical

new to this forums so if i am in the wrong area please advise

i have just got the philips cineos (HTS9800w12) and would like to connect it to sky HD so that i have true surround sound, however, the cineos does not have optical in and so am wondering if anybody could give me a hint in the right direction to get the systems connected.

cineos connections are Digital in, aux in l/r, Pr/Pb/Y (component video)

i am using the HDMI connection from Sky HD so it is spare if i can use that to the cineos

Many thanks for any help in advance

Re: 5.1 without optical

Not familiar with your system, but if you have a digital in(I presume you mean coaxial ie a sinle phon/rca input labelled 'digital') then you can purchase an optical to coaxial convertor from Lektropacks or Keene electronics...don't forget to set the audio on HD box to 'digital' though

Hope this helps
