I had it in the planner to watch, along with all the other matches, but I definately didn't ask it to record

Very true

Although the strange 'soft focus' effect of the press conferance footage was slightly distressing!

Summary to date

Initial problems with sound, fixed - no one has said if this was also present on BBC 1.

No 5.1

2 people had the programme start recording itself, 1 definitely had the match in the planner as a reminder

Reports of picture jumping when camera pans

Just spoke to Sky CS and they said that it should only be analogue sound, which is what the banner says as well (i.e. no DD).

Where did it say it should be 5.1?

Didn't it start in 5.1 with the sound dropping all over the place. Then they switched to bog standard stereo?

It did indeed start in 5.1 and then the switch to stereo seemed to resolve the problem.....

Anyone else getting sparklies - particularly on wide shots of the crowd? Think I may need to replace the Sky supplied HDMI cable?
