tv locking up with sky hd

tv locking up with sky hd

hi i have just had sky hd fitted when i have it connected with a hdmi lead after a while the screen freezes. and tv locks up . the only way to do anything is pull the plug on every thing then reboot every thing. when it all locks up if i pull hdmi cable out the tv is still locked up. if i use scart instead all is fine . the tv is a plextor . i have replaced the cable with a better one and is still the same can any one help..
