Moving my fibre from sky to BT.

I have had my sky fibre installed for a month. At first I was getting 40/2 for the past 2 1/2 weeks I have been getting 24/2. My estimate with sky was 36/2. I have been in touch with sky and the are talking to openreach about it. To be honest I do not have much confidence in sky as in their own forums there are a lot of people with the same problem. I would rather not go back to BT but have no option.

You could try other providers like talktalk, plusnet, ADSL24 etc.

I'd wait to hear back from sky first tho, as the fibre line is maintained by openreach so if it's a fault, then chances are it'll be the same with BT or any other fibre provider unless openreach fix it.

Its not an OR problem its a sky problem. Take a look at skys forums and see how many people are affected.

Slow throughput speed could be a sky issue or it could be a fault on openreaches side causing it.

It is a sky problem. There are hundreds of people on the sky forums complaining about this.

Guess what you're find if you go on bt's forums? The exact same thing. Forums are basically just people moaning or asking for advice. You won't get 100 people saying that all is working and the service is amazing.
