Sky Netgear router/BB simply cannot coexist with cordless phones

Am about to go .

Bought some new Panasonic cordless phones in April. Before we start it is interfering with the line, NOT the wireless. Whenever I pick up or put down the phone 75-80% of the time the broadband light on the Black Negear router goes orange or flashes orange. After about a minute after the call has ended BB resumes, albeit slow speeds.

All filters are set up as they are supposed to- router upstairs with a separate phone connected to the router filter. The Panasonic phones are in the living room. The master socket is in the hall and so placing the route there is not feasible. the master socket has a plug coming out of it- this is the extension to all the other 3 sockets round the house (one upstairs with router and corded phone, one bedroorm with corded pone, Panasonic cordless in living room ) ALL WITH MICROFILTERS.

Just to show how bad it is here's a snippet from the log:

In the picture below you can see the type of extension kit that I used (Rhey still make them!!!).

If its the router would it be possible to call sky and then have them send a replacement N router (worth £35) ? (this black Netger one is from 2010, when I joined).

Have you tested the phone / router at the master socket ? Unplug extension connection then plug in filter and then connect up phone and router then test. If phone works fine and BB still working in master then it is your extension wiring that is the cause. If not it would suggest a line fault so contact line supplier.

The extension has worked fine for ages with broadband until recently..it could be the Panasonic phone

Oh, and it doesn't drop out EVERY time now, either.b

Do as maf1970 says. Unless you test it at the master socket you will always be guessing as to the reason for the fault.
