Sky HD and internet help needed

Hello,
I have recently had Sky TV HD installed and also signed up for Sky broadband and telephone. The TV was installed last Monday and I had a letter stating that my line would be activated on the 11th Aug. I have gone to install my broadband today, I connected the microfilter to the main socket, the modem/router wire into this and the sky TV/phone spliter into the phone socket. The router is powered up and the yellow ethernet cable is conected to my laptop but the internet light is not on on the router, only the power light, the third light (I dont know the name of this sorry) and the port 1 light. I have called Sky technical help but with no avail, they had me unscrew the main socket box and plug the microfilter into the test socket too but this still didnt work. I have reset the router numorous times but also no joy....please help!

Welcome to AVF but fernandez was right about the thread - you should have waited for this to be moved, and not started a new one in the right place.

If your DSL light hasn't gone 'green' then by the sounds of it your line hasn't been enabled yet.
