Transferring to Sky

This weekend we took advantage of sky upgrading our exchange and signed up to get EVERYTHING from Sky (TV, Broadband and Phone)

However what do I have to do regards cancelling by existing (UKFSN / Entanet) supplier ?

Enta supplied me with a MAC code but Sky say they dont need it as

Quote:
we are provisioning your broadband and sky talk service on SVBN (sky talk and broadband network) which allows us to process it without a MAC
I always assumed that the MAC code sort of switched one off and a new one on

Do I just need to inform Enta ?

As Sky are fully unbundling your line it is possible to do so without using a MAC. I wouldn't know if that is the correct procedure for FMPF migrations or not, but if it isn't then you may get charged an ADSL cease fee by your current ISP - Currently a £29 fee to BT Wholesale plus whatever your ISP adds on top.

In theory BT's systems will notify your old ISP, but in practice it would be wise to inform your old ISP yourself.
