My sat nav packed up ( Yes peteb 2000 MDA need power charging and not from cradle when they are very low as I discovered).
I went to pick up a mobile phone from a village/area near Chorley. I got lost and it was a very dark and quiet road.

I asked a man driving a dark colour MF55 small hatch for directions to the motorway.
Instead of directions this kind gent drove right to the motor slip road.
I hope he is a member of the forums and if so I would like to thank him very much for his help.

Its becoming rare to find people like the gem. Thank you very much from me n the family and merry xmas.

Interesting to see the impact relatively small actions can have on people.

Previously in the General Chat we had Lisa B smarting over someones petty maliciousness.

Now we have the other side of the coin.
A stranger performs a small act of kindness and helps someone find their way in the dark.

I'm trying to avoid sounding schmaltzy or like Ned Flanders here, but what a good message to send out, especially at this time of year.

As Ayub says

I hope he gets the New Year he deserves.

I bet he is a nice guy ALL the time too
