Looking better already, you thought of putting any LED lights?

Thanks!

I am looking for some flashy downlighters on a remote control dimmer...:D

Land of giants! How high is that TV?

I know I know... but the floor is coming up 100mm remember! so hopefully it will all come together!

The center speaker is also now surface mounted under the plasma which bridges the gap!

Skimmed and ready to paint..
Equipment half installed
Waiting on glass shelves for new AV stand, both deliveries have been damaged in transit.. and oak floor on order from Sweden
Got the new dimmable downlighters fitted
Power now brought in from upstairs to a surge protected 5 bar
Jet Black "custom made" picture frame for the plasma due in too

WELL....IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!!!

Built a glass block partition where the old lounge door was, built a new stud wall and moved the door to there, got the oak flooring down and the rest of the kit back in and working! The Powercube is behind the main sofa, but I need another sub I think...

The surround dynamics is spot on now.... without the sofa's blocking the rears! Now watching my DVD catalogue all over again!..

Yes mate, really really happy.. I only wish I'd pre-wired the component cables for any future projector upgrades...

awesome mate

Cheers guys... anyone got any ideas on neons? positioning and hues? :smashin:

Neons, probably the now famous Ikea trettioen's, £21 for 4 strips.

Beautiful looking room/set up you have.

I love your unit - has me thinking!!

Just on one note - really do think the TV is too high, but I assume its to your preference

Delighted for you, enjoy!!

Love the floor, I wanted ours much darker but it got vetoed. Is it wood?

Russell, The flooring is Khars Oak Expresso, Oak Veneered, solid wood flooring.

Max and neil: It looks worse in the pic than in real life..... when you are in the room...it feels right to be that height...and I wanted to match the pictures etc....But you are correct..I could have lowered it all a bit..alowing me to fit a large motorised screen without blocking the center speaker...

Anyway..cheers for the comments...:D

The Ikea Trettioens are good, but if you want to be able to change colour, fade out colours, let colours change and pulse to music then go for these - cost about £80/£90, but they are the dog's nads.

I have 2 of the 15" bars stuck vertically down either side of my lcd, and two of the 9" bars stuck across the top. Easy to install but you do need a power supply, I have a mains point behind my lcd on the wall. The lights do look very very good when compared to the trettioens which I previously had.

Great looking set-up and install by the way - looks a lot better than previously. :smashin:
