WEDNESDAY 28TH NOVEMBER COMMENCING 6:30PM

We are pleased to invite AVForums members as well as our regular customers to an open musical night on the evening of Wednesday 28th November from 6:30pm onwards. There will be champagne and nibbles available for all as well as prizes to win in our usual prize draws, including a KEF PicoForte 1 i-Pod dock and a Chord Company Chorus interconnect.

ROOM 1

Downstairs, Michell Engineering's TecnoDec will be feeding an Arcam DIVA A90, along with a CD192, through Kef 's luxuriously finished XQ20 standmount louspeakers. Paul from Diverse Vinyl will be on hand with plenty of the black stuff for purchasing or pre-ordering.

ROOM 2

In our main cinema room, a 5.1 Kef XQ AV package (comprising XQ30 floorstanders, XQ10 standmounts and XQ50 centre channel) will be playing on the end of the Arcam FMJ AV9 / P7 pre/power AV amplifiers, along with Kef 's awesome Reference 209 subwoofer, a 1000 watt monster utilising an 18" long throw, dual suspension bass driver.

ROOM 3

In our main hifi room, Michell's range topping Orbe turntable and Arcam's new FMJ MS250 audiophile quality music server will be playing through an FMJ C31 pre amp with 6 FMJ P1 monoblocks tri-amping Kef's fantastic Reference 205 loudspeakers.

Room 4

Finally, Michell Engineering's GyroDec will be feeding an Arcam FMJ A32 amplifier, along with an FMJ CD36, through Kef's luxuriously finished XQ40 floorstanding louspeakers.

All of the systems on the night will be connected with Chord Company interconnects and speakers cables, some current favourites, some new. They will also have a few 'on the night' offers for visitors, as well as being able to help with any problems or queries you may have.
