Is anyone thinking of attending this Conference? I understand its the world's largest consumer electronics trade show?

Id never heard of it before but am seriously interested now. I often think the main expos are in america or britain, but this seems to show that the mainland europeans are streets ahead of us at times.

Yep. I'll be in Berlin for 3 nights from 3rd of Sept (my bday). Will be attending the show on the Tuesday. Hoping to see some amazing stuff like OLED TVs.

Whats the main things you are wanting to see? Im fascinated by the new generation of technology, we seem to be rushing forward so fast nowadays. I used to go to a few expos in hanover for sennheiser, neumans etc so have high hopes of what to expect from the berlin one.

Im surprised there isnt more interest in this - is there an identical thread going on elsewhere that I should know about? lol

Hi Guys,

If you have a chance could you check out if either of the two new headphone surround technologies are on demo.

1)Beyerdynamic Headzone Home. This is due for an October release, but no news yet on price.
2)Yamaha YSV-1. Has been demoed at several shows but no release date yet.

It was in a room where everyone just mingled around - not a presentation style. So unless you had very big ears, that wasn't possible :D
