Ces 2010

Anyone planning on doing CES next year (Jan 7th-10th) I must admit I'm seriously tempted, but guess I need to get my ass in gear for booking.

Remember that it is a trade only event, you will need to be a member of the AV trade in some way or other to register.

We will be there again this year with the usual video output.

So they say - never been really enforced though from what I can tell from previous years .... If only I could blag it from the press side of things - that's what I really want. If I end up going I'll be spending most of my time taking pictures - you don't need an official photographer do ya

Looking forward to seeing your video blogs as usual - always great insight ...

I thought CES is open to the public, the tickets that you can pre book they said something on their site about them being available to the public.

Anyway can I go? I am currently working as a small distributor on consumer electronics. I really need to go to CES to find some new products to distribute. To avoid disappointment what can I do to make sure I will get in?

Info on their website and you will need a valid company name and some form of business cards etc. If you are a genuine business you should have no issues.

Thanks for the reply

Well I have not registered my business yet. I have a company name. But I have not registered it with Companies House. I got some business cards made. I am not VAT registered yet. I am trying to put everything together still but am working on a small scale at the moment as in getting some retailers/wholesalers interested in the products that I have presented them with. I have not had a sale yet. Can I still go to CES or will this not work?
