Kent Home Cinema - JVC HD550 and HD950 Launch Event

We will be holding open days on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September to showcase the new JVC DLA-HD550 and we have just been told by JVC that we will also get the DLA-HD950 projector as well. All our demo rooms will be open so there will also be a chance to see a range of other products on the day.

Special in-store introductory offers on these two new JVC projectors will be available. We will be providing a 5 year warranty and free JVC XV-BP1B Blu Ray Player worth £290.00 for any orders placed on the day. There will also be an extra little something for all those who attend the event

As we will be providing refreshments it would be useful to get an idea of numbers so please could interested parties drop me a PM or reply on this thread.

Further details will be posted here once we get an idea of when we will be able to get up and running on the Friday although we will run the demos into the evening and throughout Saturday.

I'd like to come along (probably on Friday) but will the JVC HD350 and HD750 still be on display so that I can compare, please?

Evening

We will be dedicating one of our main demo rooms for the HD550 and although we may still have our HD750 (our HD350 has gone now) this will be in another room. The event is primarily to show the new projector rather than any form of shootout. I hope you feel it will still be worth the trip to come and see it.

Morning

We are now up and running with a white JVC DLA-HD550 and black DLA-HD950 and pictures look stunning

JVC representatives will be with us around lunchtime if you would like to meet them and discuss any of their products.

Demonstrations will be available throughtout today. If you would prefer to visit Friday evening please give us a call in advance.

There will also be a chance to view the projectors throughout Saturday between 10.00 am and 5.30.

The projectors will be collected by JVC next week so they will be available for a couple of hours on Monday morning before they make their way to the next dealer.
