outputs from scarts on pani digibox

Hi
I use a panasonic digibox TU-DSB20 and a seleco 400 front projector. At the moment the picture is output via a scart to 3 phonos into my pre amp. As you can imagine the picture is not very good at 8 foot across as it is composite.
I am going to invest in a RGB to s-video convertor but I also want to use a digisender to watch tv in the bedroom.
The transmitter is connected via scart presumably to the 2nd scart socket on the digibox.
My question is: if I switch the output to rgb, does it mean that an rgb signal is sent out of both scarts?
I believe the digisender will only accept a composite signal via scart.
Is there a way to output rgb from 1 scart and composite from the other?
Any help or suggestions please

the 2nd scart on nearly all digiboxes is for a VCR connection and so im only guessing that it will HAVE to stay as composite (or s-vid if it outputs this). i dont know your particular digibox but most are the same in this respect.

I suppose I could try an experiment by connecting the vcr to scart 2 and switching to rgb. If I get a good recording, that would confirm your view.
I just dont want to waste Ģ120 on a digisender only to find it wont work!!!
Thanks for your help

I use a digi sender with my panni box. I have the output set to RGB for my main screen and still get a perfect picture through the sender. Seems that the RGB setting only affects scart 1. Hope that answers your question
