Motorised dish setup help needed

I have a motorised setup and i just can't seem to get the arc right to receive all the satellites. I can recieve Turksat (42.E) to Hispasat (30.W) and everything in between perfectly but the rest above Hispasat are gone. Having tried getting the arc right with various equipment, has anyone got a better idea of a pole mount that is hassle free to setup? I have to use a pole mount due to a heavy dish and severe wind! (I've also checked the pole is straight with a spirit level!)

I'd guess that the pole needs to be vertical as well as straight.

I've seen an eBook about the subject. Its title is something like "Installing a motorised sat system". The download site is easy to remember:
