What is the best 24" widescreen TV?

First of all... I'm new in here, so what's up?

Anyway, what is the best 24" widescreen TV for 350 - 400 pounds?

Sony and Philips seem to impress me the most.

I want your thought/experience on what the best solid visual/sound widescreen TV.

Is 100Hz flicker-free TV necessary?

Try the TV forum mate better chance of getting a reply, I think that only a few 24" are available and 100Hz processing gets only a few good reveiws for most people it is an unwanted and uneeded feature that causes more problems than it solves.
