"No Sat Sig ..." problems

Hello all,

I recently had a sky+ installation done, and decided to put my original receiver, a 4 yr old Panasonic's box, into our bedroom and take advantage of sky's second subscription discount offer.

Since moving the panasonic's box I continually get the dreaded "no sat sig ..." message.

Along with sky's helpdesk, I've gone through all the usual checking the connections, going through a new install from the service menu, performing a forced backup, all to no avail, it hasn't cured the problem.,

When I check the quality indicators both appear to sit around the 70% mark, so sky are saying that the box must be wonky.

Could it be that my original box has had enough and needs to be replaced?
Thanks for any replies.

Make sure your (unknown model) Panasonic Digibox is connected to the quad-output LNB with double-shielded satellite cable and waterproof the connection.

Test your Panasonic on a friend's dish to determine whether your Digibox itself is faulty.
