S550 and Original Pace Digibox Sound

Hi all.

I recently brought the Sony DAV-S550

I have fed the Pace sky Digibox through this but when i switch the maching to auto decoding it doesnt pick up any Pro logic signal from the SKY.

I switched it to Normal sound on the Sony DAV s550and it appeared to pick up the pro-logic signal , but when i went to the back speakers the sound was incorrect

Any advice, does the original sky digibox emit a dolby pro- logic signal?

I am also testing on the movie channels where the film emits a DS(dolby surround) singnal

Many Thanks

Tango

All Sky Digiboxes give a stereo output which, of course, includes the Dolby Prologic encoding when it's transmitted. Try "The Simpsons" on Sky One, for example.
