DVB-S on PC

I am the proud owner of a new Entertainment PC (Aldi special) which has a DVB-S input. The handbook just says, 'connect to sky box'.

What's this all about then, will it just feed the current sky output or what ?

Thanks.

Re: DVB-S on PC

If it has a Dsat card installed or integrated into the motherboard then you connect it to a LNB feed, this will give you the FTA digital satellite channels.

The only way to connect a SKY digibox to a PC is via one of it's analogue video outputs.
