Hello. I have a techmonate 5400 receiver which has a USB output. I have tried connecting a hard drive via the usb socket; the usb connection is recognised and then I get an error message. I am assuming I have to put some software on the hard drive? I went onto the technomate web page to have a look. There were two software updates. I downloaded them but couldn't find out what they were as then I extracted the file, my computer says that the file type is not known. Can anyone help?

you have to format your HDD by FAT32 than conect your HDD to TM
