Im asking for some help with finding free channells for a 9 yr old. We removed our sky subscription and installed a techbomate free to air box, however im not able to find any substitute type channells for progs. like hannah montana, drake and josh, zoe 101. Im sure someone out there has found something thts similar and I would really appreciate the help.

Have you got a new dish as well or are you using your technomate with the sky minidish (pointed at Astra2). You should be able to get cbbc, cbeebies etc which are FTA off the minidish. Other than that there isn`t much free to air kids channels in english on the other main satellites (Astra1 and hotbird) (try lyngsat for lists and languages etc)
Which technomate have you got? Most of them have "other" capabilities that google could help you with.

Most of those type of popular US programmes are limited to pay TV channels.

Are you using the Sky minidish still as originally aligned on 28 East?

Thanks for that, yes it is stii the sky dish, pointed to the sane sattelite, and it is the technomate TM 5200. BTW does anyone find the technomate difficult to navigate ???? I guess my 9 yr old will have to do with DVDs. ( the reason I gave up on sky was the absolutely impossible to deal with customer interface.
