as most probably you have read on different forums there are many unhappy customers out there and yes i'm one of them. to cut the story short i've had enough of satanta edited so want to cancel my contract. i have a monthly one , could anybody tell me to what address i have to write to so can cancell. i'm gonna do recorded delivery so got proof that they have signed for it.

ok i have cancelled it (i hope), phoned 0191 no but was told to phone 0871 no which is higher prem. got through to one lady (she was nice to be truthfull) and then she transfered me to accounts manager. she said it might take 10 - 15 min which i was not happy about but to be fair i was connected in less then 2 min. spoke to manager and got my subscription cancelled. now just gonna have to see if it goes of my card next month or not. fingers crossed

That isn't to be recommended these days as it can result in a poor credit rating.

The address Setantal emailed me when I told them I was going to cancel my direct debit with them.

option 2, this will allow you to speak to one of our dedicated Account
Management Agents.

Alternatively, you can write to Setanta Sports on Freeview,PO Box
800,Kirkcaldy, Fife,KY2 6WD, giving 30 days notice of your intent to
cancel.

Just found out the price has gone up to £13 rang up & they did me a 6 month deal @ £7.50 (had a 3 month deal at a fiver b4)
They did tell me of a change to T&C's it's now 60 days notice from letter receipt to the Sunderland address (Sky subs)

Have just found I have been charged £15 per month rather than the £12.99 for months!

No responses from any email addresses or forms filled in.

Time to cancel I guess.

I'm going to ask them to take my additional months subscription from the amount they've overcharged - doubt I'll get much luck!

Cancel the direct debit then. If they've overcharged you, and there's enough in the overcharge to pay for the cancellation month, then you're perfectly within your rights...
