This HD Satellite Free-To-Air Kit anygood

Hi

I am after a cheap free to air satellite kit also would like to be able to pickup bbc hd would this kit do the job.

Also what are the channels this unit would pick up is there a list anyware and is there anything else i would need to get going.

Would it not be better to wait till Freesat officially launches (Spring 2008) and get one that is fully compatible and will also support any EPG that is sent out.

Should be able to pick up all of the free to air hd channels available... As for the available channels, here is a list of all channels available which are High Def, but only the ones which state Clear in the "Encryptions" column would be receivable.

To be honest, I would say you're best off waiting till freesat appears which will give a high-def version, and would probably see release of more high-def channels...

Other problem with hi-def receivers is the 4:4:2 or whatever it is (sure someone who knoews more than me will be here to post soon enough ) will probably cause some headaches along the lines...
