Hi all,re Fortec Passion problem or confusion.
New to HD and using HDMI. When I watch scaled SD channels ,I can't alter the aspect ratio.TV is Sony Bravia 40".Sky RGB scart and DVD component can be changed on the tv remote.Also if I use an RGB scart to HDMI scaler box I can alter the aspect ratio.Is there any way I can watch SD channels in 4:3 or 14:9 through the HDMI input ?

I cannot give you the answer but as I am about to buy one soon I would ask what ratio you ARE able to view at?

Can you also tell me if that receiver can drive a motorised dish?

Rather oddly Maplins offer the HD receiver with a fixed small dish and an SD receiver with a larger motorised dish!

Agile...Hi,
No motorized control.
Can only view 16:9 wide screen on the Sony Bravia.Might be able to alter aspect ratio using component video,havn't tried that yet,will post if I can.
