Recordable HD without Sky subs??

Does this --
http://www.turbosat.com/shop/product...&cat=28&page=1

mean I can get all my freeview channels, plus BBC C4 HD channels, and recordable -all without any subscription?

If so will this be better quality than my current Humax 9200T for the SD channels?

Any negatives?

Freesat DOES NOT have the same channel lineup as Freeview. There are many channels available free on satellite that are just not on Freeview AND some of the Freeview channels are not available on satellite without subscription. Also note that receiver is AFAIK not compatible with the present Sky EPG so you will only be able to get a "now and next" EPG and we will have to wait until around April when the BBC Freesat EPG launches to see whether that will be compatible with any existing box. Without a full EPG a PVR is almost useless. Although that box's spec says EPG supported they are referring to the standard EPG system used on most other satellites but NOT transmitted on 28 east. Also there is still uncertainty over when/if Channel 4 & 4HD will become FTA as there contract with Sky does not run out until October this year.

So basically you really ought to wait until at least April (when BBC Freesat EPG launches) to find out which boxes will be compatible with the EPG systems.

So to sum up you may
