DigitAlb price increase from 1st February 2008

Hi,

Just to let you guys now that DigitAlb are increasing the prices of their packages by 20% from the 1st February 2008, so if you are thinking of purchasing one now is the time to do it. DigitAlb have introduced two new HD channels to their Gold package, plus I beleive they are adding 13 new HD channles to the gold package sometime this summer. The only thing is that when if you purchase a card before 1st February 2008 the reatailer will activate the card on the day of purchase leading up to 1st Feb as the retailer has to pay for the activation at the current prices on the day the card is activated so it's after the 1st feb the reatilser will have to pay the the increase. DigitAllb cards are not prepaid cards like ART cards used to be the activation is from when DigitAlb are contacted to activate the card, this applies to new cards, if you already have a DigitAlb card which is due to expire or in the next few months or so soon you can activate now for 6, 12 or even 24 months at the old prices before 1st Feb 2008 your new viewing period will start when you current viewing period runs out.

are they still testing ther HD channels? last time i looked they were mpeg2 and 1440x1080

Still testing but showing a lot of content. 1920x1080 too.
