More Questions

Hey

Firstly id just like to thank everyone for there help over the last few weeks. AV Forums and it's members are really God sends!!!!

As for this post, well, the more i read about a non sky route the more complicated everything get's. I would love to have my own sat dish but im at my wit's end.

My main issue is not having a clue what english HD channel's i would recieve with a motorised dish. Im also worried about quality, is it to that of Sky's?

Also, do i have to do alot of channel searches often? I hear that sometimes it loses signal and channels become unavalible.

Can anyone talk me out of this, i really don't want to go the sky way.

One more thing, can anyone give me a link to a all in one package? E.g. Pole, Fixings, Dish, Motor, Box ETC.

Thanks Guys

Re: More Questions

Is that it? It's just i would be able to access BBC HD through my old sky dish.

Can i put the question this way.

If a very bad man hypothetically bought a TREX card to access these channels. What HD channel's would this very bad man receive in term's of channels?

Thanks.

Re: More Questions

You dont seem to understand the consept of satellite broadcasters not meant for the UK are generally NOT in English.

I personally wont tell you what is and what is not accessed on a T-rex CAM, but that wont open any more possibilites for HD than you seem to think are out there.

If you want HD and shows in English SKY is the route, if you want limited HD and majority that are dubbed go the other route.

Re: More Questions

If the program being shown on a non-UK HD channel was originally in English then it will still be in English (or have the option to select English audio).

Not always depends on broadcaster.
