LNB Loop-Through and Motorised System

I (sort of) understand how LNB throughput (offered by at least my Humax IRCI-5400Z) works on a standard system: the first receiver gets signal but also loops through to the LNB-out connector, allowing to chain the signal to another receiver, much like aerial loop-through happens with TV signal.

My question is what happens if one has a motorised or multi-LNB system. Can you still loop through (on the understanding that the last STB to select LNB/move the dish affects the viewing of the other STB as well)? Or does the first STB to get the signal control the LNB/motor and the other just gets the feed?

And the most whacky of questions: can you mix a Disecq STB with a 36V STB in that scheme, on the understanding that only the 36V STB can control a 36V motor?

Thanks in advance!

Re: LNB Loop-Through and Motorised System

The last question is quite sensible.
A 36 volt motor is controlled by separate wires (at least 4 of them , 2 for motor power and 2 for position feedback) ; it makes good sense to use a receiver with 36 volt actuator capability as the master position controller.
The LNB loopthrough will then just loop through the satellite IF band from the dish (i.e. signal but no motor power or DiSEqC signals).
