Combining signals

I've read and read up about combining this and that and am more confused than i was at the start. I will explain my situation. I need to combine 2 sat signals and and a TV signal down one cable and be able to separate at the wall plate into each signal. One sat signal is from a monobloc feeding a sat receiver, the other will be from a minidish with a Sky signal to a Sky digibox. Failing to be able to separate the 2 sat signals at the wall box can I use a feed through from one box to the other and just select which receiver to watch. My main concern is how do I piggy back 2 sat signals and one terrestrial TV signal down the same cable?
Hope the above made sense

Re: Combining signals

This is the only way:
http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/stacker.htm

But note that they no longer sell it and ask yourself why.

Re: Combining signals

Okay im really going to show my ignorance here
Can I not use a combiner to combine both sat signals then use another to combine these signals with the TV aerial one. Then at the wall outlet TV feed to tv and sat signal to sat receiver passed through to the second sat receiver, and which ever sat receiver is switched on thats the one I watch?Ok well was only an idea

Re: Combining signals

Read the page I linked to. You can use a diplexer to combine UHF and LNB signal into input 1. Input 2 takes the second LNB signal. You'll need another diplexer at the output to separate the UHF and LNB feed.

Re: Combining signals

Hi,

I potentially had the issue before as i wanted 2 LNB feeds from a distribution box (within the flat) and was advised by the installers (Chapmans in Dudley) that it could be brought together in 1 cable and seperated again. They said it would have cost about £150, but was prone to problems escpecially at set up probably explaining why satcure stopped selling them. I believe commercial/multi home sky instalers can get them still so ring a local sky specialist.
